Hello! I am a Graphic Arts student at South Hills in State College. Art has been a lifelong passion of mine, starting in early childhood and continuing through my grade school years. During middle and high school, my artwork was displayed on school walls and at Homewood Nursing Home, and I was honored to receive an art scholarship in my senior year.
In 10th grade, I had the opportunity to attend the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center (GACTC) to explore a trade. Initially, I was uncertain about this path, but discovering their graphic design program changed my perspective. I applied, was accepted, and spent the next three years immersed in graphic design—a field that quickly became my new passion.
Through my experiences, I’ve come to realize the impact art and design can have, both visually and emotionally. This knowledge drives and inspires me daily, and I’m excited to continue growing as a graphic artist.
